LA Dodgers Pitcher Blasts Team for Honoring ‘Blasphemous’ Drag Nuns At Pride Event: ‘Fans Don’t Want Propaganda Forced On Them’

LA Dodgers pitcher Blake Treinin issued a statement Tuesday slamming his team’s decision to honor a blasphemous pro-LGBT group at an upcoming Pride event, pointing out the group routinely mocks Christianity.

“I am disappointed to see the Sister’s of Perpetual Indulgence being honored at Dodger Stadium,” Treinin wrote in a statement about the group which features drag queens dressing as Catholic nuns.

“Many of their performances are blasphemous, and their work only displays hate and mockery of Catholics and the Christian faith,” he wrote in a message posted to Twitter by a friend.

My friend and @MLB pitcher Blake Treinen asked that I post this statement for him in regards to the @Dodgers honoring of the sisters of perpetual indulgence. #HoldTheLine pic.twitter.com/jIDeDJF8ke

Treinin’s letter comes just days after the Dodgers MLB organization responded to LGBT backlash by re-inviting the Sisters to their Pride Night event after initially rescinding their invitation over outrage from Christians.

Following the team’s decision, many on social media highlighted how the Sisters regularly stage religiously offensive stunts, including mock crucifixions of Jesus Christ featuring male strippers using the crucifix as a stripper pole.

This is so grotesquely offensive to my faith that I struggle to even watch it.
