Biden Jokes About Ice Cream and ‘Good-Looking Kids’ in Audience While Speaking on Nashville Christian School Shooting (Unbelievable)

Joe Biden had another painfully cringeworthy gaffe while addressing the tragic school shooting that occurred in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday.

Kicking off the women’s business summit at the White House, Biden decided to perform a stand-up bit about ice cream and joke about “good-looking kids” in the audience rather than immediately speak on the shooting.

“My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband. And I (unintelligible) ice cream, chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream. By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think I’m kidding?” Biden told the laughing reporters.

“And who are those good-looking kids back there?” he asked.

Biden’s antics are made even more bizarre by the lower third of Fox News saying, “Biden Addresses Deadly Nashville School Shooting.”

After telling his jokes and flirting with children, Biden returned to the topic at hand: pushing for gun control following the shooting.

“We have to do more to stop gun violence. It’s ripping our communities apart. It’s ripping at the very soul of the nation. We have to do more to protect our schools so they aren’t turned into prisons,” Biden said, adding the school shooting is “a family’s worst nightmare.”

His press secretary Karine Jean Pierre echoed his gun control talking point, calling on Congress to “do something.”
