President Ali Bongo has won a third term in the presidential election with 64.27% of the vote, the Gabonese Election Centre (CGE) said on Wednesday, after a delay-plagued general election that the opposition has denounced as fraudulent.

By now, many Americans should be aware that at some point, they’ve unknowingly chowed down on “pink slime” meat. This culinary horror first rocked the pages of The New York Times in 2009 and several other times in recent years. We’ve noted “The Return Of Pink Slime” and “Is There Meat Glue In Your Food?” and “American Fast-Food Chains Use Seaweed, Soy, And Even Wood To Beef Up Menu Items.”

A study published in 2022 in the British medical journal, The BMJ, found processed and ultra-processed meats, such as ham, bacon, salami, hotdogs, beef jerky, and corned beef, can significantly increase men’s risk of colorectal cancer and other diseases and even increase early death in both men and women.

“We found that men in the highest quintile of ultra-processed food consumption, compared to those in the lowest quintile, had a 29% higher risk of developing colorectal cancer,” stated co-senior author Fang Fang Zhang, a leading cancer epidemiologist and the head of the nutrition epidemiology and data science division at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Boston.

A parent at a California elementary school has slammed officials for sanctioning a playdate for kids that essentially segregated them by race, and excluded white children.

A flyer for the event at Anthony Chabot Elementary School in Oakland, CA notes that it is “for black, brown and API families.”

“If your family identifies as Black, Brown, or API or are [sic] a parent/caregiver of a Black, Brown, or API student. Come hang out while we get a chance to know each other and build our community as we kick off this schoolyear [sic],” reads the invite to the event.

Ironically it was hosted by the school ‘equity & inclusion committee’.

Taking to social media, the parent noted “I dunno about others, but I’m genuinely upset about what ultimately boils down to a “No whites allowed” playdate.”

“We’ll look back and cringe so hard that we tried to beat racism by segregating kids of color from white kids,” the parent added.

“How is this productive? Why are we continuing to segregate people, let alone KIDS,” the parent also noted.

The recent cancellation of Alimonti et al shows clearly that catastrophising bad weather events and attributing them to a collapse of the climate is now the main weapon deployed to scare populations into embracing the Net Zero agenda. Of course, reference is still made to global warming, but most recent rises seem to owe more to frequent upward retrospective adjustments of temperature, rather than any significant natural boost. Perhaps we should not be surprised by this turn of events. In a short essay titled ‘The New Apocalypticism’, the science writer Roger Pielke Jr. noted: “For the secular millenarian, extreme events – floods, hurricanes, fires – are more than mere portents, they are evidence of our sins of the past and provide opportunities for redemption in the future, if only we listen, accept and change.”

The climate is collapsing all around us, shout the headlines – they require we ignore the data, the historical record, even common sense. When all is said and done, the Earth is not actually boiling! Well Professor Gianluca Alimonti and three other Italian scientists didn’t ignore the past data, much of it in fact from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and they found little change in extreme weather events. They published a paper concluding that there was certainly not enough to justify the declaration of a ‘climate emergency’. A year later, the publisher Springer Nature bowed to the demands of a group of activist scientists and journalists led by the Guardian and Agence France-Presse and retracted the non-conforming paper. An addendum was proposed and sent to four reviewers for comment. Three reviewers argued for publication. The fourth stated that typical readers were not climate experts and “editors should seriously consider the implications of the possible publication of this addendum”.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres recently said we are on a pathway to climate hell, with our foot on the accelerator. Steve Koonin, President Obama’s Energy Under-Secretary for Science and the author of Unsettled, recently charged that climate scientists were negligent for not speaking out and saying Guterres’s comments were “preposterous”. Koonin is not very impressed with mainstream media click bait weather stories. “I can take current media and almost any climate story I can write a very effective counter,” he recently told Peter Robinson, host of Uncommon Knowledge. “It is like shooting fish in a barrel.”

The mainstream media has an agenda to set, namely the de-carbonisation of society. Noting the influence of green billionaire-funded operations like Covering Climate Now, Koonin said the mission was to promote the narrative. The MSM will not allow anything to be broadcast or written that is counter to the narrative. And the narrative is: “We have already broken the climate and we are heading for hell.”

Stranded Brits are sleeping on airport floors with only chocolate bars for nourishment as the air traffic crisis rumbles into a second day – amid anger at the lack of support and compensation from airlines.

Dozens more flights have been grounded today on top of more than 1,200 cancellations yesterday after National Air Traffic Services (Nats) suffered a ‘technical issue’ preventing it from automatically processing flight plans.

Thousands of holidaymakers have been left stuck as a result, with some being told they won’t be able to get a flight home for a staggering 12 days.

In the meantime, families have scrambled to secure hotel rooms for their unexpectedly prolonged stay, often at inflated prices, paying hundreds of pounds per night.

The boss of the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed today that passengers can expect to be provided with food and drink as well as accommodation if delayed overnight.

However, scores of people reported having to spend the night sleeping on the floor of airports, with many more complaining about the lack of a proper meal.

Ken Blanks, a 71-year-old from Bristol, said he and his wife had to turn down a £50 per night night hotel in Las Palmas until the next flight in just under two weeks because they cannot afford it.

He blasted easyJet for not offering them anywhere to stay and not communicating with them, telling The Sun: ‘I’ve finished my holiday in Gran Canaria but there’s nobody from easyJet talking to us. They don’t care a damn about us.

‘The next flight is in 12 days so we are stuck here. The airport offered some families with kids hotels but they have to keep getting taxis there and back. It’s 200 euros from the airport to the hotel. No one has the money for it. I can’t afford a hotel. And there’s nobody here to tell us anything.’

This evening easyJet announced it would run five repatriation flights to Gatwick following ATC fault. Flights will be offered from Palma and Faro tomorrow, and Tenerife and Enfidha on Thursday August 31 and from Rhodes on Friday September 1.

Sadiq Khan‘s much-hated Ulez expansion sparked violence on the streets of London today between protesters who can’t afford to pay the charges and the police.

The flashpoint erupted outside Downing Street where campaigners against paying just to drive through their home city had been for much of the day.

It comes hours before the Ulez expansion, affecting all 32 boroughs, will come into effect from midnight, seeing people having to pay a £12.50 daily charge to drive the most polluting vehicles around the capital.

Shocking footage saw police scuffling with some of the protesters as tempers flared over the controversial expansion which is set to bring an extra £2.5 million a day to City Hall and raise billions in the coming years.

Retired builder John Davies, 66 said: ‘Sadiq Khan is robbing me of my pension. He is taxing the poor and it’s all based on lies.

‘I’m a pensioner. I’m 60 per cent disabled and I’m struggling to pay my bills

‘This man has lied time after time. He doesn’t account for his actions and he has nothing but contempt for ordinary people. It’s disgusting.

‘I’ve worked all my life since I was 15 – 51 years of working my guts out.. I have a van that they say is non-compliant. It’s a 2009 diesel. The emissions are no different from the vehicles they say are compliant. He’s just plucked out a date from the air and it’s poorer people who can’t afford newer vehicles that are being punished. It’s disgraceful.

‘He’s conning us out of our hard earned money. I only drive 3,00 to 4,000 miles a year. I don’t do the mileage to cause a lot of pollution yet they want me to pay £12.50 a day. It’s outrageous.

‘I’m living on a state pension of £186-a-week.’

The UK is in dire straits. There is no effective health care.

In recent years, the country has gone through misery, despair, deliberately created false fear and major fraud. As a result countless millions are mentally ill – too sick to work. Millions take antidepressants and/or tranquillisers.

Thousands of elderly patients have been officially and legally murdered by doctors using a `kill shot’ comprising of morphine and a benzodiazepine tranquilliser.

Endless millions are on waiting lists which, for them, will never end. Millions will die before they are diagnosed or treated.

And what is happening? What is the medical profession’s response to this? How are doctors confronting the biggest crisis in health care since the Middle Ages?

The British Medical Association, the doctors’ trade union and the patients’ enemy is promoting strikes for doctors and demanding a 35% pay rise.

One week, the strikers are junior doctors (young doctors in training – some of whom are earning just under over £70,000 a year).

And then it is consultants who are on strike (their average annual salary is currently over £130,000 a year – making hospital doctors among the highest paid people in the country, and, I suspect, among the highest paid in Europe.) Many hospital doctors earn more than the average, of course, with many earning hundreds of thousands a year from private patients – in addition to their NHS salaries.

For three and half years the moribund NHS has been in turmoil.

The lockdowns, the unnecessary closure of hospital departments while nurses practised their Tik Tok steps, the absurd and dangerous mask wearing and the insane social distancing all pushed waiting times longer and longer.

Doctors could and should have stopped these insanities. But, instead, they made things worse. Even today there are doctors claiming that mask wearing should come back – even though my book Proof that Face Masks do more Harm than Good provides solid proof that masks are dangerous and useless.

Today, there are over seven million UK citizens urgently waiting for essential treatment. Many of them will die untreated.

Is the BMA determined to destroy the NHS? It looks like it.

Or is the nastiest and most unnecessary trade union in British history determined to destroy Britain?

There are many vital issues which doctors need to deal with.

Why, for example, did so many doctors give injections of the toxic and dangerous covid-19 ‘vaccine’ without ever asking questions? Why did they break every ethical law in existence and give a toxic and experimental vaccine without fully explaining to patients what they were doing?

Why did so few doctors question the fake covid pandemic when it was patently clear that the Government was telling lie after lie after lie?

Why did doctors not notice that the Government’s own advisors had officially ruled that covid-19 was no more dangerous than the flu?
