Prior government censorship cases typically involved a state actor unconstitutionally meddling with one publisher, one author, one or two books, a single article. But as we intend to prove in court, the federal government has censored hundreds of thousands of Americans, violating the law on tens of millions of occasions in the last several years. This unprecedented breach was made possible by the wholly novel reach and breadth of the new digital social media landscape.

My co-plaintiffs, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and Dr. Martin Kulldorff, and I were censored for content related to COVID and public health policy that the government disfavored. Documents we have reviewed on discovery demonstrate that government censorship was far more wide-ranging than previously known, from election integrity and the Hunter Biden laptop story to gender ideology, abortion, monetary policy, the US banking system, the war in Ukraine, the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, and more. There is hardly a topic of recent public discussion and debate that the US government has not targeted for censorship.

Jacob Seigel, Matt Taibbi, and other investigative reporters have begun to document the anatomy of the censorship leviathan, a tightly interconnected network of federal agencies and private entities receiving public funding—where much of the censorship grunt work is outsourced. The “industrial” in censorship-industrial complex should be understood literally: censorship is now a highly developed industry, complete with career-training institutions in higher education (like Stanford’s Internet Observatory or the University of Washington’s Center for an Informed Public), full-time job opportunities in industry and government (from the Virality Project and the Election Integrity Partnership to any number of federal agencies engaged in censorship), and insider jargon and euphemisms (like disinformation, misinformation, and “malinformation” which must be debunked and “prebunked”) to render the distasteful work of censorship more palatable to industry insiders.

Our lawyers were in court last week arguing for a preliminary injunction to halt the activities of the censorship machine while our case is tried. I will spare you a full account of the government’s endless procedural wrangling, obfuscation, attempts to hide, delays, and diversionary tactics in this case—futile efforts to dodge even the most legally straightforward aspects of discovery, such as our request to depose former Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki. So far, the government has been caught hiding discovery materials, which the judge chastised them about before ruling against their motion to dismiss, reminding the government that the limited discovery so far would widen once the case went to trial.

A senior teacher says he was ‘treated like a paedophile’ and faced being banned from the profession over a science lesson about puberty that upset children with gender identity issues.

Roy Huggins, 54, a history teacher with more than 30 years’ experience, was asked to fill in for an absent colleague to teach a class of 11 and 12-year-olds.

He read from a national curriculum textbook about the physical changes to the bodies of boys and girls during puberty and provided some additional explanation to help the pupils understand. He believed the lesson went well.

But unknown to Mr Huggins there were at least two pupils in the Year 7 class who were ‘diagnosed with gender dysphoria’ and several pupils later lodged complaints about ‘inappropriate’ comments he made in the lesson which caused offence.

Instead of simply discussing the problem with Mr Huggins to avoid a repeat, the school reported him to the local authority safeguarding body which deals with allegations against adults working with children.

To his relief Mr Huggins was quickly cleared of any wrongdoing and he said the authority even ‘criticised the school.’

But not satisfied with the conclusion, the headteacher at Retford Oaks Academy in Nottinghamshire then referred Mr Huggins to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which has the power to ban teachers from working with children.

It triggered a ‘nightmare’ two months during which the married father-of-two and grandfather became ‘suicidal’ as a reputation built up over decades at the top of his profession was put at risk.

He blamed his treatment on a culture at the school for ‘pushing a radical agenda.’

Last week he received notification from the DBS that he was in the clear as there was no case to answer, but he decided to publicly reveal details of his ordeal as a warning of what can happen to teachers treading through today’s gender identity minefield.

Children as young as 12 will be able to change their sex on their birth certificate without their parents’ consent under new laws passed in Queensland on Wednesday.

The laws passed on Wednesday make it easier for people to have their gender documented without undergoing sexual reassignment surgery.

A change of name will also be able to be made at the same time as an alteration of sex.

The laws have two pathways to alter the record of sex for a child under 16 – through the Children’s Court, or with an application to the register by a parent or guardian when particular criteria are met.

It means there is now a pathway for children aged 12 to 16 to change their sex on their birth certificate without their parents’ permission.

However to do so, the child must first be assessed by a developmentally informed practitioner.

The new laws also allow for a child to have two registered fathers or mothers on their birth certificate. As it stands, only one person can be registered as a child’s mother or father.

The bill replaces the existing Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act and allows greater freedom over chosen gender descriptors, including non-binary recognition.

The LNP opposed the laws, arguing a bill allowing self-declaration was a threat to women’s privacy in women-only spaces such as toilets and change rooms and would have a negative impact on women’s sports.

‘This bill is an attack on women, it is an attack on women’s rights and it’s an attack on young girls,’ deputy LNP leader Jarrod Bleijie told parliament.

Opposition MPs also raised concerns about children under the age of 16 who might apply to change the gender on their birth certificate.

Scientists have found perhaps the most promising indication yet that life does exist on Enceladus, Saturn‘s sixth-largest moon.

Data gathered by NASA‘s retired Cassini spacecraft reveals the presence of phosphates – a key element for the existence of life – on the moon.

Crucially, the phosphates are not trapped in rocky minerals but dissolved in the moon’s liquid water ocean as salt, the scientists say.

It’s already known that Enceladus has long, snake-like fractures on its icy surface that eject huge plumes made up of ice grains and water vapour out into space.

Only last month did researchers reveal they’d detected a ‘surprisingly large’ plume coming from Enceladus’s south pole that could be a sign of life.

Enceladus is one of few locations in our solar system with liquid water, along with Earth and Jupiter’s moon Europa, making it a target of interest for astrobiologists.

NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope revealed a water vapour plume jetting from the southern pole of Enceladus

This global ocean of salty liquid water is sandwiched between the moon’s rocky core and the shiny white shell of ice that covers its surface, at least 12 miles thick.

Excitingly, phosphorus has not been detected in oceans beyond those on Earth – until now.

A Harvard professor believes aliens will not make first contact with humans but instead will communicate with artificial intelligence.

Avi Loeb shared the theory in a new documentary, God Versus Aliens, slated for July, in which he suggests extraterrestrials will send AI drones to Earth rather than ‘crewed’ vehicles.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, British musician and director of the show Mark Christopher Lee described Loeb as a ‘very active mind’ but explained his suggestion is based on the vast distance aliens could have to travel to reach us.

‘Loeb proposes that it’s likely to be some form of AI because why would you send flesh and blood creatures?’ Lee said.

‘That means there’s a possibility that their AI could just connect with AI and bypass humans, which is a bit scary to think about.

‘Loeb suggests that the alien AI may feel a kinship with ours – or our AI may imitate the alien AI and become like them.’’

In the film, Loeb says: ‘My expectation from interstellar travel is that it’s best done with electronic gadgets and devices rather than with biological creatures because the journey takes a long time.

‘Even to the nearest star, it will take us 50,000 years to get there with chemical rockets. And artificial intelligence systems have that patience – and then they can remain dormant… so that they survive the journey.

‘If they visit us, of course, we can use our AI systems to interpret their AI systems. And, you know, they might feel a kinship to them.’

Lee said that Loeb has now set off to Papua New Guinea on a $1.5m ocean expedition looking for fragments of an object which crashed into the sea there in 2014.

The Israeli astronomer and his research partner Amir Siraj concluded in 2019 that an object from outside our solar system had hit Earth in 2014.

Britain’s vegan market is in crisis with businesses going bust and products pulled from shelves  amid concerns over ‘ultra-processed’ food and the cost of living.

Meatless Farm has become the latest victim after the Leeds-based company made its 50-strong workforce redundant last Friday and collapsed into administration.

The firm was set up in 2016 and sold £11million worth of plant-based mince, burgers and chicken in 2021 – but has struggled as demand for meat-free products slowed.

Its failure comes as experts warned the trendy vegan market was now ‘stagnant’ as people search for more healthy alternatives and turn their backs on the animal-free food and drink products which briefly took over supermarket shelves in the UK.

Other brands to have faltered in Britain in recent months include Yorkshire-based sausage maker Heck which has dropped most of its vegan products, and Swedish oat milk firm Oatly which has withdrawn its dairy-free ice cream offering in the UK.

In addition, Nestle said in March it was removing its Garden Gourmet plant-based vegan brand from the shelves of UK stores, less than two years after it was released.

Officials reportedly discussed the move as a way to stop Russian advances toward the capital

The Ukrainian military considered demolishing key bridges around Kiev in order to keep Russian troops from crossing the Dnieper river in February 2022, the has BBC reported.

The proposal was floated in the early days of Moscow’s assault, as officials scrambled for ways to stop Russian forces then marching toward Ukraine’s capital, according to a lengthy BBC profile on General Valery Zaluzhny, the country’s commander-in-chief.

Hoping to block routes over the Dnieper, “a high-ranking official” reportedly telephoned the head of the SBU intelligence agency at the time, Ivan Bakanov, and demanded an order for special forces teams to destroy every major bridge in the area. However, when the intelligence chief sought Zaluzhny’s input, he was quickly rebuffed.

Though Ukrainian forces have deliberately demolished several bridges to slow the Russian advance since fighting erupted last year, the plan in Kiev was never carried out in full, with only select bridges blown up in the capital region.

On January 24 2023, the Foreign Minister of Germany and author of Germany’s forthcoming National Security Strategy, Annalena Baerbock, said at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, “We are fighting a war against Russia.”

On 5 April 2023, Hervé Blejéan, Director General of the European Union Military Staff, said that henceforth, NATO would fully control the EU’s military decisions.

On 9 May 2023, NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said “All NATO members agree that Ukraine will become a NATO member,” which means that the entire Alliance is unanimous that Russia will and must be defeated in Ukraine.

The next day, on 10 May 2023, the EU’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell, said essentially the same thing, though in a far less succinct way.

Then, on 14 June 2023, Mr. Blejéan directly reversed what he had said on 5 April 2023, and said instead, “To send ground troops to Ukraine is to be a party in a war, to be at war with Russia, and nobody wants that, neither the EU, nor NATO. We are not at war with Russia.”

Something extremely important had happened which reversed, cancelled, the EU’s, and also NATO’s, war against Russia. But no one was reporting what had caused the change — nor even that there was a change.

This was the first such statement from the EU that the war against Russia is over — won’t go all the way as a U.S-and-All-European war; but instead had been prematurely committed-to as-if it would be that.

However, Annalena Baerbock and the entire German Government are now even more committed to war against Russia than before, because, on 14 June 2023, Germany’s Government finally came forth with its war-promoting National Security Strategy. Deutsche Welle headlined “German government presents first national security strategy”, and Minister Baerbock said “All of us had to learn with the brutal war of aggression of Russia against Ukraine that freedom and peace do not fall from the sky.” The DW news-report said virtually nothing about what is in the National Security Strategy. Russia’s RT was more informative about that; it headlined the same day, “Germany names biggest threat to ‘peace and security’: Berlin has accused Moscow of jeopardizing strategic stability”, and it opened: “Russia has been declared the biggest security threat in a top German strategic policy paper. Presented on Wednesday, Germany’s first ever National Security Strategy describes Moscow as a force threatening both regional and global order.” Germany, which has 231 U.S. military bases on its territory and is being destroyed by the U.S.’s enforced economic sanctions, physical destruction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline from Russia to Germany, and other U.S.-imposed economic burdens, would remain a U.S. slave-state or ‘ally’, regardless of what the rest of the ‘Alliance’ would do.

Going forward now, it is the U.S. regime and countries such as Germany that are still committed to U.S. President Joe Biden’s promise that, “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.” If America’s war against Russia will henceforth NOT be including some other European nations, then perhaps Russia will remove those other nations from being targeted by its thousands of nuclear weapons. The United States, in any event, certainly is providing international leadership of a certain sort: into WW III. But, by doing so, it might lose some of its ‘allies’.
