Now get rid of your mandates, Biden: Ron DeSantis’ office joins Kristi Noem and host of Republicans demanding Biden get rid of ‘useless’ sweeping nationwide rules after he admitted there was ‘no federal solution’ for ‘Covid’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis wants President Joe Biden to scrap his ‘useless’ vaccine mandates after he told the leaders of 25 states that there is ‘no federal solution’ to the COVID-19 pandemic, his office said on Tuesday.

The Republican governors of Florida, South Dakota, Arizona and Texas plus a host of other GOP figures are calling on Biden to drop his sweeping vaccine order affecting a third of the American workforce, as well as his other nationwide COVID rules, following his comment.

Out of the four just Arizona Governor Doug Ducey participated in the call.

DeSantis’ spokesperson told DailyMail.com that the president is ‘abdicating responsibility and shifting blame’ to the states.

‘More Americans have died of COVID-19 under Biden than under Trump. Now that Biden has admitted to the nation that he has no plan to “shut down the virus,” and that there is “no federal solution,” we expect him to withdraw the unconstitutional and useless federal vaccine mandates,’ DeSantis’ office said.

Biden notably promised to ‘shut down the virus’ on the 2020 presidential campaign trail. Now just over a year later, the new Omicron variant is fueling another wave of new infections, Biden’s vaccine order is facing legal roadblocks, and his administration’s delayed response in rolling out COVID-19 tests is under fire.

DeSantis’ office also recalled Biden’s message to Republican governors in August who were blocking mask and vaccine mandates: ‘Please help. But if you aren’t going to help, at least get out of the way.’

Johnson Tells the Public to Have a ‘Cautious and Sensible’ New Year’s Eve. We do not need a dishevelled Cult-owned prat to tell us what to do thank you. Now piss off

The Prime Minister has admitted that the Omicron strain is “obviously milder than the Delta variant” and told the public that they should enjoy New Year’s Eve, burdened by as few restrictions as possible. However, Boris has also urged people to be “cautious and sensible” and urged everyone to get jabbed. MailOnline has more.

Boris Johnson today gave the green light for people to celebrate on New Year’s Eve but urged the nation to be “cautious and sensible”.

The Prime Minister said he believes “everybody should enjoy New Year” despite the spread of the Omicron variant.

He said the strain ‘continues to cause real problems’, with hospitalisations rising, but the data shows it is ‘obviously milder than the Delta variant’.

Johnson said the booster jab rollout means England does not currently need new Covid restrictions, despite Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all imposing new rules on socialising.

The premier today repeated his plea to the nation to get boosted as he warned that 90% of Covid patients in intensive care units across the country had not received the top-up dose…

Johnson has promised that there will be no new Covid rules in England before New Year’s Eve.

His decision not to roll out extra curbs is in contrast to the actions taken in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland where additional restrictions have been imposed after Christmas.

The Prime Minister said this morning during a visit to a vaccination centre in Milton Keynes that the vaccination programme meant “we are able to proceed in the way that we are”.

Man armed with AR-15 arrested on way to rid White House of ‘evil demons’

Police say they arrested a heavily armed man who claimed he was on a mission to assassinate President Biden

An armed man from California was arrested after telling police officers he was going to kill President Joe Biden, along with other high-profile individuals including White House Covid adviser Anthony Fauci.

25-year-old Kuachua Brillion Xiong was nabbed in Cass County, Iowa on December 21 after law enforcement discovered an AR-15 rifle, ammunition, and body armor in his vehicle while he was pulled over for dangerous driving and speeding.

According to Secret Service Agent Justin Larson, Xiong had been travelling for several days from California “with the intention of driving straight to the White House” to “kill persons in power.” A Google Maps route to the White House was discovered on his phone.

Xiong complained to authorities about purported “sex abuse of children” under Biden and claimed he had been called by God to “combat evil demons in the White House.” Xiong also revealed that he had intended to gain entry to the White House using a grappling hook.

Xiong’s ‘kill list’ – which he compiled using TikTok – allegedly included Biden, former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and White House Chief Medical Adviser Dr Anthony Fauci – one of the most prominent faces of the US coronavirus response.

The California man said “he would immediately resume traveling to the White House” if released from custody and would “do whatever it takes” to conclude his mission.

Sheriff’s records show that Xiong is currently being held in Pottawattamie County Jail.

Former CNN producer under investigation after pedophilia allegations – reports

A criminal probe “involving potential juvenile victims” was reportedly opened for an ex-CNN producer

A former producer for CNN’s Jake Tapper is reportedly being investigated over “serious allegations” of child sexual abuse, Fox News reported, citing police. He is the second CNN employee to face similar charges this month.

A statement by Virginia’s Fairfax County Police Department on Wednesday, which was cited by Fox News, appeared to confirm that a probe was launched into Rick Saleeby, who worked as a producer on ‘The Lead with Jake Tapper.’ Authorities said “detectives assigned to the Child Exploitation Squad of the Major Crimes Bureau” are leading the investigation.

“While we will eventually be transparent about our findings, safeguarding the personal privacy and safety of victims and witnesses as well as maintaining the integrity of our criminal investigation are of paramount importance,” the department added.

Tucker Carlson rips into ‘pedo outbreak’ at CNN

The allegations were first raised in a report by conservative muckraking outfit Project Veritas earlier this month, which cited recordings, texts and photos provided by a “former sex worker” who claims to have had an “ongoing relationship” with Saleeby for more than 10 years.

Though the outlet noted that it has no evidence any abuse was committed, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe said the information provided by the sex worker, identified as Janine Bonanni, was concerning enough that he felt a “duty to take action to protect the children who were involved.” After contacting the police, Veritas reported that Saleeby’s devices and hard drives had been seized as part of a probe, while Fox later added that officers took “numerous items from the subject’s Virginia home.”

A spokesperson for CNN told Fox that “The person in question no longer works for CNN” and had resigned earlier this month, but did not elaborate. It is unclear whether the resignation came before or after Project Veritas’ initial December 15 report.

While Veritas cited the content of sexually explicit messages and recordings, it is unknown how it confirmed they were sent by Saleeby. Many of the graphic messages included in the report, moreover, make no mention of a minor, but are alleged to refer to the underage daughter of Saleeby’s former fiance.

The reported investigation comes after another CNN staffer, veteran producer John Griffin, was arrested by the FBI earlier this month on three counts of attempting to “entice minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity.” The Justice Department claims Griffin used messaging apps to persuade the parents of underage girls to “allow him to train their daughters to be sexually submissive.” He faces a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison for each charge if found guilty.

Liberal pundit tells GOP Senator to get vasectomy after Christmas family photo

A photo featuring an extended family of Republican Senator Mitt Romney riled up a prominent Democrat

Liberal commentator Keith Olbermann sparked outrage this week after telling Republican Utah Senator Mitt Romney to get a vasectomy in response to Romney’s family Christmas photo.

After Romney posted a photo of his family on Christmas Day, along with the caption “From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!” Olbermann lashed out on social media, writing, “Somebody gift these people some vasectomies.”

Olbermann received heavy backlash for the comment, with critics calling him “sad” and “sick.”

“Get married and start a #BigFamily like Mitt Romney so you don’t end up childless, alone and miserable like Keith Olbermann,” reacted the conservative American Principles Project, while Republican communications specialist Matt Whitlock wrote, “This guy is just so broken and I hope he gets the help he needs.”

— christmas cheer liz bruenig (@ebruenig) December 29, 2021

Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz also stepped in to defend Romney’s “beautiful family” and “wonderful kids & grandkids,” dismissing Olbermann as an “angry,” “bitter,” and “hateful” man.

A few people agreed with Olbermann, however, arguing that large families were “not sustainable” for the planet anymore and that Earth was “already too crowded.”

Olbermann – a prominent Democrat activist who previously worked for CNN, MSNBC, and ESPN – is no stranger to controversy and his social media posts have frequently landed him in hot water.

Last year, Olbermann was accused of racism after he called then-President Donald Trump a “whiny little Kunta Kinte,” in reference to the fictional African slave from the novel ‘Roots’. After heavy backlash, including from racial justice activists, Olbermann apologized for the comment.

Study reveals dangerous long-term effect of Covid-19

A new study claims to have found a direct link between kidney failure and coronavirus disease

Covid-19 directly infects kidney cells and can cause severe damage to the vital organ, according to a scientific study which proves a link between serious infection and organ failure.

In a report published in the scientific journal Cell Stem Cell on Friday, a group of researchers suggested that Covid-19 can cause serious complications affecting a patient’s kidneys.

“SARS-CoV-2 directly infects kidney cells and is associated with increased tubule-interstitial kidney fibrosis in patient autopsy samples,” the study claimed, acknowledging that while kidney failure “is frequently observed during and after COVID-19,” it had previously been inconclusive as to “whether this is a direct effect of the virus.”

Kidney fibrosis is characterized by the formation of scar tissue in the organ, and can ultimately lead to end-stage kidney failure.

After infecting a kidney sample with the virus, the researchers claimed that the results proved Covid-19 can “directly infect kidney cells and induce cell injury with subsequent fibrosis.”

The results could explain the frequency of kidney injury in those with Covid-19 and the appearance of chronic kidney disease in those who are suffering from long-covid, they concluded.

Scientists have long observed kidney issues in Covid-19 patients, despite the virus’ reputation for damaging the lungs.

Last year, Johns Hopkins University Associate Professor of Medicine, C. John Sperati, warned that it was currently unknown whether Covid-19 patients who suffer from kidney damage would recover from their injuries.

Sperati also suggested that the appearance of kidney damage in Covid-19 patients could be due to the fact that many of those hospitalized with the virus suffered from pre-existing conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, which both increase risk of kidney disease.
