Two years after Mahsa Amini’s death in Iran, protest movement endures harsh persecution

Two years have gone by since a massive protest movement erupted in Iran following the death in custody of Mahsa Amini after she was detained for allegedly violating the dress code for women. The opposition to the Islamic regime faces a dire situation amid rampant executions and repression of women.
