John Legend, From His Beverly Hills Mansion, Tells Springfield to Embrace 15,000 Haitians

John Legend read off a script on Thursday encouraging Springfield, Ohio locals to embrace having 15,000 Haitians dumped in their community.

He made the comments in a video for Instagram filmed inside his mansion in Beverly Hills, California.

Legend, who was born in Springfield, kept telling locals to embrace the Haitians coming to “our” town even though he’s living over 2,000 miles away on the opposite side of the country in a town that’s 82% white and only 2.2% black.
